Professor Ramakrishnan gave a talk on the efficient raising of a DIEP flap at the London Breast Meeting.

He commented: “This annual meeting has become very important in the exchange of ideas and training of young surgeons.

“Creating a DIEP flap isn’t just an operation. It starts with careful planning which includes choosing the right procedure for each patient, effective counselling, and pre-operative assessment, before working with a team of anesthetists, nurses, and other surgeons to offer the best results possible.”
